Came to this place to check it out because I ran online that they had a vegan ice cream. I ordered the vegan vanilla ice cream and it didn’t taste like any vegan ice cream that I’ve had in the past. It tasted like a vanilla snow cone flavor. It looked like it came out of a snow cone machine. Only gave it two stars because the person that was working there is nice.

I have had organic ice cream before and this tasted nothing like that but i was embarrassed because if i had realized it would cost $7 for 1 scoop of ice cream in a cone i would have never walked inside but i didn't want to leave without getting anything so i bought the baby scoop for $4.05 and wow i thought i was being punked no lie 3 bites for mediocre chocolate ice cream and who charges $4.05 for a baby cup. For $4.05 i was expecting more ice cream and more flavor. Also, it left an aftertaste that hasn't happened when i eat organic ice cream elsewhere. Lastly, not sure why this bothered me because the young lady wasn't rude but once she gave me the very tiny cup she left saying thanks and disappeared to the back so i just paid and left without asking my question because i thought she must have been busy in the back because it was just me in the front. I love supporting small businesses but this is a pass for me.

My favorite ice cream in the Bay! Love their unique flavors, black peppercorn, basil, earl grey tea. I always take out of town guests here, and they are never disappointed.

Tara’s Icecream is a neighborhood staple that has been around for many years. They offer a unique variety of flavors, that are all equally light and delicious. An obvious choice for a sweet treat when you’re in the area! Highly recommend stopping by and tasting their seasonal flavors.

I hate Tara's organic ice cream because now I cannot have ice cream from other brands anymore. Tara's ice cream being all organic tastes soo good and I have now tried almost all of their flavor offerings and cannot make my mind up on which one I like the most because they all taste great. I especially like their cardamon, sesame, pistachio and chai but I need to try the rest of the flavors too. It is bit more pricy compared to your regular shop like Baskin Robins or other small shops but it is so so worth it for the quality you are getting. Bottomline, this place sucks because it made me hate all other ice cream brands. If you want to be able to eat and enjoy other brand ice creams, I recommend you not to go to Tara.
